WATER FROM THE MOON (trailer)

Documenting the longest river surfing in the heart of the Bono in Northern Sumatra. There lies a flawless river wave that breaks for over 31 miles. A long with equally impressive amounts of crocodiles and various dangerous life threatening aspects that go along with it. What is fascinating about this is that it is not located on a coastline, or island shore but rather in the deep jungles river with a tidal bore so powerful that it produces breakers up to 8- 10 feet in height. Tidal bores usually produce small, insignificant mushy waves, thus making wave surfing in Bono a truly remarkable phenomenon, and the attempt to document such experience: beyond impressive. Director, Arya Subiakto and his team not only  successfully attempted in documenting such phenomenon but had done so in a captivatingly brilliant fashion along with breathtaking photography as they had done for water from the moon.

And so it goes, some moments would present itself and there I would find myself wide eyed as my heart beats to a proud hum of being a part of magical Indonesia.
